Xiaomi 12 Ultra received a possible date of the announcement. Xiaomi Mix 5 is not for everyone and is delayed

Taking all the predictions on faith is not worth rushing

No sooner had we missed the next portion of rumours about Xiaomi 12 Ultra, as several network sources trumpet the likely date of its presentation. It is expected that the release of new items is scheduled for May 10 and, to give a touch of reliability to this information, the network leaked the allegedly official poster of the company, anticipating the announcement of Xiaomi 12 Ultra.

Based on this poster concludes that they will present the Uberflagman Xiaomi in a month and it will carry onboard the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ chipset. There is a possibility that this will be the first device with a new chipset. Recall that this will be an improved variation of the Platform Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. It is known that its production is engaged in chipmaker TSMC, whose 4-nanometer process is more mature and offers better energy efficiency compared to a similar technology from Samsung, the norms of which are used in the production of Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.

Xiaomi 12 Ultra is expected to offer an AMOLED panel with LTPO 2.0 technology and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 125 W fast charging and a quadruple rear camera. A key role in the camera will be given to the latest Sony IMX800 sensor with a resolution of 50 megapixels and Leica optics.

Interestingly, against the background of talks about the upcoming presentation of Xiaomi 12 Ultra, there was information that the company cancelled the release of Xiaomi Mix 5. True, we are talking about the global market, to which the newest flagship with a sub-screen camera will not be released. But in China, the novelty will appear, but only next year. Rumour has it that the company has considered it a priority to announce the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2, which can be folded inside and out.
