Today, network informant Digital Chat Station decided to dispel the widespread rumour about the red Leica logo, which is often depicted on fan renders on top of the main camera module. In reality, of course, it will not be. Moreover, there is no hidden subtext in this decision: the peculiarity of Leica’s brand management is that the company places this logo exclusively on its products. However, in some places the “coca-ring” icon in Xiaomi 12 Ultra can still be found: it will be put on each picture in the form of a watermark.
Meanwhile, the head of Xiaomi Lei Jun (Lei Jun) updated the avatar on Weibo, appearing in a picture with a Leica M10-R camera worth more than $ 8,000. In one of the publications, he assured fans that the transition to Snapdragon 8 + Gen 1 will not be a “small upgrade”. Recall, that this chipset will form the basis of not only Xiaomi 12 Ultra but also Xiaomi 12S and 12S Pro. The presentation of the devices will take place in July.
